Carole Griffin specialises in still life oils and watercolour. She won the Artist Magazine Award in 2014 and the Dry Press Award in 2016.
A visiting lecturer at Central St Martins, Carole is committed to inspiring others in their artistic endeavours and is highly regarded as a skilled and enthusiastic teacher of art.
She regularly acts as a consultant on a range of artistic projects and events in public spaces and has been instrumental in establishing Open Studio initiatives for emerging artists. As a student she was awarded the prestigious UK Leverhulme Travelling Scholarship, which enabled her to work with a variety of industry professionals across North America, winning numerous One Show awards in the process.
Carole was also awarded a number of D&AD awards for her graphic design work in advertising, publishing and the music industry during the early stages of her career as an artist and has since graduated to working as a full time Fine Artist.
