Brian George’s inspiration for his works mainly comes mostly from the East Anglian landscape, Suffolk Second World War coastal defences and images of dereliction. In his paintings based on fêtes, parties, sports and summer activities the intention is to capture and convey, often through an exuberance of colour, a sense of joie de vivre.
