Jayson Lilley

From iconic London landmarks like Borough Market and Battersea Power Station, to everyday subject matter like buses and English breakfasts, Jayson Lilley’s art has always had the clear intention of making the ordinary look extraordinary.

With his signature bold colours, strong palette and illustrative approach, Jayson’s graphic novel style has been admired and collected around the world to an incredible extent, considering his relative youth.

Heavily influenced by his early career in the field of visual communication within graphic design and advertising, his work reflects his idyllic upbringing in a Devon seaside village through its vibrant portrayal of his current home town, London.

Urban landscapes with countryside influences are common themes in his paintings and screen-prints, although not always immediately apparent and serve as his outlet to express his love of the capital whilst maintaining the strong roots he developed in his early years.
